Our Services

Legal Consults

Sport isn’t always smooth sailing. Many athletes face challenges with contracts, entitlements, team or coach relationships, or disputes within their organisation, league or the wider sporting community.

Our legal consults—available as short, medium or extended sessions—provide athletes with clear, practical advice about their rights, the options available to them, and strategies to resolve the issue. These consults are designed to empower athletes with knowledge and confidence, whether they’re dealing with a one-off concern or a more complex situation.

Following a consult, athletes can choose to engage our lawyers for ongoing support to help navigate the matter with their team, league or the individual involved.

We also offer Tribunal Preparation and Representation services.

Contract Negotiation

Once you’ve received an offer from a team, our lawyers can step in to negotiate on your behalf to ensure the contract accurately reflects your value and includes the terms that matter most to you. If you’d like to explore additional opportunities, we can also make discreet enquiries with other teams so you can compare offers and make an informed decision.

This service includes our full Contract Review, giving you complete confidence that you are maximising your worth, protecting your rights, and signing an agreement that supports both your career and wellbeing

Contract Review

A thorough review of your playing or commercial contract to ensure that:

·       your rights and interests are fully protected

·       your entitlements and responsibilities—and those of the other party—are clearly defined

·       the agreement accurately reflects what you’ve discussed and expect

This service also includes a 45-minute consult, where our lawyer will walk you through the contract, highlight any red flags, and answer all of your questions so you feel confident and informed before signing

Workshops

We deliver tailored workshops for groups of athletes and sporting clubs, covering a wide range of topics that directly impact athletes both on and off the field. Sessions can explore areas such as contract negotiation, understanding rights and responsibilities within contracts, responding effectively to challenges or disputes, leveraging personal profile for commercial opportunities, integrity and conduct expectations, and other relevant issues within the sporting landscape.

All workshops are fully customisable and can be curated to meet the specific needs, goals, and experience levels of your group.
